The travel documentary Turkish Riviera takes you on a trip along the Turkish Riviera between Alanya and Manavgat. The movie starts in Alanya, which is probably the most popular resort along the Turkish Riviera for many European tourists.
Additional to Alanya on this DVD you can see other tourist highlights such as the beautiful bay of Incekum, the ancient theater of Aspendos, and a river trip on the Manavgat River, which begins in the town of Manavgat and ends at the Mediterranean. Here you have the occasion to swim both in the river and in the sea.
The highlight, however, is Alanya. The spots shown in this movie are the reason to attract many tourists every year. The highlights are the castle, with a magnificent view on the Cleopatra beach and the open sea, and the harbor. Here daily starts the Pirates cruise, a day trip on traditional wooden boats along the coast.
But even the surrounding area has plenty to offer. There are especially the Dim River, with its restaurants in the middle of the river water, and the Dim Cave, one of the most important caves of Turkey. The Dim Cave has all year constant temperatures and a healing effect on respiratory diseases.
The Dim Cave is located in the Taurus Mountains, which begins just behind Alanya. In the Taurus Mountains ends the trip along the Turkish Riviera. Here you can experience the beautiful nature and traditional life of the locals in their mountain villages, far away from mass tourism.
The DVD has no spoken comments, but offers either English or German subtitles with explanations. For more information about the Turkish Riviera visit our community.

Hi Nowaal,Lovely to hear from you. Glad to hear your getting on with the reoisvin! We're looking at South Africa in class as part of our topic but also in Literacy, as we're reading a book called Journey to Jo'burg' by Berverley Naidoo. It's amazing. Next week in Literacy, we're going to find out how to write a biography. Hope this helps but do say if you need anymore info.6CP are really looking forward to seeing you again!Mrs Paradine.
